missing money

I don't think I ever got my federal tax refund. Is anyone else missing theirs? Was the rumor true, that that asshole in charge is holding our money?

What happens if my check got lost? Do I have any recourse in getting the money?

My friend's kid, Julia, is really cute, but she's only around two and a half, and I have a lot of trouble understanding her. I'm sure it's frustrating to her. Last night, I could have sworn she told me her dad was from Tatooine. She said it four times (just the same each time). I finally repeated what it sounded like she said. She just looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders and she left. I felt bad for her. Besides just having trouble enunciating, she mixes Spanish in with her English. I can't ask her to speak English because she doesn't know the difference. First she'll have to learn that there are two words for things, then she'll have to learn which one is which.
