I was gone all weekend, and I still amn't anywhere near catching up with all my friends posts. I've managed to leave a few comments here and there, but that's about it.

I checked my e-mail a little while ago. It was the first time since Thursday afternoon. I only had 29 messages.

I had to go all the way to /friends?skip125 to catch up.

lost loves

I just got my last issue of Backpacker magazine.

I'd been getting it for almost ten years. I never did very much backpacking and I really wish I would have done more. My knee bothers me when I walk a lot, so I had to give it up. The last time I was out on a long hike, in pack, my knee hurt so much by the end of the first day, I could hardly bend it. That is because I walk unevenly. If I did some stretching exercises regularly, I think I could overcome it, but I don't.

Anyway, I love Backpacker, but it is almost difficult to read it, because of the great places it shows. It is just beautiful.
