meeting friends

I met one of Cindy's friends today. She was in the hospital because she had a stroke. (She is 44). I've been seeing Cindy for almost three months and it was the first time I met any of her friends. But then I guess half of her friends are ex-boyfriends. ;-)

a walk

Cyn and I went for a walk. It got rather warm today. It was in the low forties. After dark it dropped back below freezing. As we walked, we remarked how nice it was. Clear sky and perfectly calm. Shortly after that we looked back and a bank of clouds was coming over, and the wind came up. It got real cold, real quick. By the time we got back, our ears were numb.
