printing

Here are a couple of pictures from when we were printing, last night.


This is when I was doing the initial roll-up, inking the stone. My dad ended up doing the inking for the actual printing.


Here, I'm turning the crank to run the print through (transfering ink from stone to paper). It looks like I'm a hunchback working really hard, but I'm actually just trying to turn it consistently.

I'm sure Cyn will post more pictures, in which I don't look quite so handsome, so feel free to check her journal.

Unfortunately, it will be a while. I'm not gonig to be able to do the second color for another two weeks, and there will be three colors all together.

I LOVE printmaking. I can almost smell the ink... :) Looks like fun!
