low_delta: (Scotch)
I lit a fire in the fireplace last night. A little smoke came into the room. The house still smells like smoke.

I burned some leaves this afternoon. It was a big pile that had been sitting around, so only the top, dry layer burned. It's been smoking for a couple of hours.

I think I'm going to have some Scotch.

It seems to me a very natural progression. Not a beat is lost.

Lagavulin, I trust? Or something else good?

Old chap, this is as good a reason to tip a dram as ever I've seen. Enjoy.
