Went to a comedy show. My dad won a party for 25 at the comedy club. It doesn't seem hard to get in there for free. The comedian was Mark Anthony. He was all right. The opening comedian used Wisconsin weather as a large part of his routine. I wonder how many states he can do that same routine in, just by changing the name of the state.

Cindy got really toasted. You'll have to ask her what she was drinking. <cough>Chardonnay</cough>

It's our anniversary this weekend. We've got some salmon to celebrate with. Anyone have a good recipe?

Happy Anniversary!

Our favorite salmon is a take off of the Salmon Oreganata at Maggiano's....have you had that one before?

No. We've only eaten there once.

Thanks!

I've been there three times but I don't remember having the salmon. Seems like something I would have ordered though.

Teriyaki Salmon, substitute Rum for the Sake to make it sweeter.

Salmon?
If it were me, I'd toss it and eat something else.

Well, let me know the next time you're having salmon, so I can have yours.

congratulations!

i've seen some nice mangos around--
i like to broil the salmon for a few minutes
with various spices or herbs added.
the mango sauce on the side makes the dish
and it's just chopped up mango with chopped cilantro
and a bit of lemon or lime juice...or both.

yummm
rice on the side. :)

Sounds good. Any suggestions for the "various spices"?

if i'm going to make the mango salsa, i'll put a splash of lemon juice on the salmon with some herbs de provence before broiling. easy and delish. :)

without mango, a favorite thing is to put the salmon in foil, rub it with cumin and add what's-this-here sauce. yum.

these aren't "recipes", really, sorry. they're simply the best-tasting, easiest dinners i like to throw together if we're having salmon. :)

jasmine rice and a green salad with goat cheese are my favorite accompanimiants to salmon meals.

I know, that's why I keep asking questions! I don't know enough about cooking to guess what would go good with what, and what kind of spices to use., and all that - otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for help.
