A friend of mine is changing his anime collection over to DVD. He gave me his copy of Armitage (The Movie). He also gave me a brand new copy of Princess Mononoke. A birthday present, I guess. He loans me a lot of tapes, and I figured sometime I'd by a movie for him, but I don't know what he has or doesn't have. If I asked him, he'd tell me it wasn't necessary to return the favor.
He's a coworker. I consider him a friend, but so far we've never actually gotten together outside of work. He's a nice guy. He also brings his Star Wars legos in to work to display on my desk.
