When we were in Tucson, Dave took me to Pima Canyon. It's a park on the outskirts of town. I really enjoyed that hike. Dave and I had a chance to hang out and talk, and do some hiking. It really turned into a photo excursion, though. We probably could have gone another four miles if we hadn't had cameras.

Barrel cacti

Saguaro skeleton

I love the saguaro silhouettes on the cliff top.

This prickly pear bush was taller than me.

A new arm sprouting. New, expensive homes sprouting.

A rare crested saguaro

It reminds me of an ant farm, with the frame, and everything all in one plane.

Nice photos! Definitely the American West. Looks like it was a beautiful day.

It was. A little warm for a hike, but I wouldn't complain about that.

I was out a computer for a week, and LJ Scrapbook was down for a while. And then I didn't have Photoshop. Even so, it takes me a good chunk of an evening to get them all resized, uploaded and posted.

I think I'm almost done.

Nice pics

Rugged terrain.
Just the kind where mornings would be divine.
The days hot and the nights freezing.
Very photogenic flora.
Wish I was there.
