Do you ever think about meeting the friends you’ve made online? I do.
I’m hoping to get to the southwest, to meet farbel. Serendipity was talking about getting (back) to the midwest. I hope to catch up with her, if she does. And I've gotta meet Ms. Fledermaus.
I have a pen-pal in Maine. I’ve been wanting to meet her for several years, now. I’m hoping to get out there this summer (and don‘t ask me why I haven‘t already). If I do, I imagine I’ll go through Whorlpool’s neck of the woods. It’s funny. I imagine if we met, it would start out a little awkward. After a couple of minutes, one of us would bring up Rush, and then we’d be cool.
But even so, with any of these people, How much time would we spend together before we started running out of things to say? :-) It is like that with any new friend you meet. Fortunately I've never found out.
