Can someone come over and set up a network for me? It looks so simple. I mean, there's only one place where you even have a choice of what to click. I try it again, and there's nothing I can do differently, and sure enough, I get the same result - nothing.

Edit: My computer sees the listing for Cyn's but it can't open it. Cyn's computer shows no hint of a network. Grrr.

I get frustrated with my network, too. The one here at home is working okay, but I still have some work to do on the one at the office. My son helped me; he's a genius at this stuff. But he's awfully far away from you :-(

This is one thing about Linux / FreeBSD / NetBSD (ect) that is nice. It's not so hard to set up networking.

It took me a while to get my USB printer "shared" from my home PC to my work laptop. I think sometimes it takes a while for the server-side to "publish" it's resources.
