It started snowing around 2:00 yesterday. Not hard, but steadily. It was still snowing at 3AM. When I woke up after 8:00 this morning it was clear. There's not a cloud in the sky. The sun coming in the family room has warmed it up nicely.

Last night, we relaxed in front of the fire for a while.

There are several sets of tracks in the snow. Last year, they were deer tracks. Now some (or all) of them are coyote tracks.

I've got to go out and shovel. Maybe four inches of snow. I also need to bring the hoses in. And go get another strand of lights for the tree. And go see The Reverend Horton Heat tonight.

Did you ever get the leaves burned?

It was 19° this morning but the sun is out and not a cloud in
the sky. I still have a fire going in the fireplace..Ü

No, they're still out there. Gonna kill the grass. And now they'll never dry out enough to burn. :-(

The thermometer said 20°, but I'm not sure I believe it. It was cold.

I wish it would snow a little bit here. It's so pretty. But I fear global warming might have put an end to our snowy winters at this elevation. Last year it only snowed for about a half hour one day and didn't stick.

I hope this snow turns into a good base for skiing. It would be nice if our long years of snowlessness were over.

We had lots of bird and bunny tracks. :)
