Do you ever have that happen where...
You make a suggestion to someone. He wants to do it a different way. His way is fine with you.
But he makes a statement to the effect that he thinks your way is really dumb.
So in order to make sure he doesn't think you're a complete moron, you explain what you were thinking.
But since you go through this effort to explain, he thinks you're trying to state your case in order to convince him to do it your way. And therefore are a pushy jerk.
No. I already agreed to do it your way. I was just sayin'.
