[low_delta]

What combination of keys can cause IE to close? These keys are all in the bottom row of letters or in the row withthe space bar. Alt-f, alt-c could do it, but I'm fairly certain my fingers were not high enough to hit the f.

That's been happening to me lately...I have no idea what happened.

My fingers were kinda between the rows of keys, and it didn't seem like I pressed any of them hard enough.

Alt+F4 will close just about anything. Ctrl+w will close most MS software.

Not using IE at all is the real solution, as eideteker suggested, but I'm sure he really meant to point you to Opera. 8~)

I'm certain I didn't hit alt+f4 or ctrl+w. Are you saying that Opera doesn't use keyboard shortcuts? Or that IE is more likely to have random shutdowns?

No, I was just attacking IE on very flimsy grounds that haven't stood up to your cross examination. 8~)

I thought of another one: Alt+Space, C
They're all quite close together on most keyboards, so you might hit them by mistake.
