productive afternoon

I got the broken tree cut down and cut up. I moved a mess o' hostas. I got hooks put in the ceiling of the shed to get some of the patio furniture out of the way for the winter. Pulled up a few onions and carrots. Got my car seats shampooed.

The cactus flower turned stinky, so I plucked it and tossed it.

Tomorrow, I'm going to buy lumber for some shelves. And I'm going out to my dad's to help him print.

Well, today, all I got done was what I said I would do - just those two things. I'd feel better about being so lazy if I hadn't been working at something all day. I mean, lazing around is fine, but I wasn't. And I still didn't do much.

You do know I was joking, don't you?? It sounded like a busy day and instead of saying "Wow, you're really busy this weekend" I went for "lazy son-of-a-gun".

I'm always impressed with how much you and Cyn get done.

Yeah, I understood your joke. But I still felt the need to comment, because I got so little done on sunday, that I wish I had been lazy.
