I'd swear it was just a few months ago that I saved a satellite photo of my house. I want one of my town, though, and I can't find one that doesn't have a website's name stamped all over it. Google Maps doesn't have a decent picture of my area. I thought Mapquest did sat photos, but I can't find them. Terraserver won't let you save anything.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Date: 2005-07-02 06:20 pm (UTC)From:http://terraserver.microsoft.com/ does allow you to save pics. That's what Cyn used, but it doesn't let me pan to exactly where I want, so I'm going to have to get two and stitch them together.
Thanks.

Date: 2005-07-02 06:05 pm (UTC)From:When you have your house centered in the aerial photo, press the "print screen" or [PrtSc] button. Then go to one of your photo editing softwares, like photoshop, and import the image from the clipboard. Then crop the satellite image of your house and save it as a new file. Voila! You have a clean aerial photo of your house.

view page info
and go to the media tab to find most files.
I didn't try with a terraserver page, but it works for most.
