That's part of the problem... it's the software, designed by comittees of marketing people who think in "art that sells", and implimented by engineers who "write to the spec" and make it up when there is none, because the managers and investors always want to sell it 6 months before it's ready.
we had a problem at work with networking once, everytime the network card was connected, it "blew out" the ethernet card and the internet connection. We had to take the computer back, and get another one. I hope that is not the problem, although.. if you are networking a gateway (I have one) with other types of PC's it could be a communication problem. Have you guys tried calling gateway tech support and seeing what they say about it?
