I sometimes say I would talk to a stick if it sat up and answered nicely. Melissa seems to be the same way. Dev? But I don't think it's regional--more personal.

I once fell into a conversation with a guy in the express line at Kohls. Outside the store he asked me to dinner. I went, but didn't have much in common (except being in the express line) and then he casually mentioned his wife. The dangers of talking to strangers. . . .
