Thirty-two bucks for a tank of gas. That smashes the old record.
I learned that I can go at least ten miles (at high speed) when the low fuel light comes on. In my old car, I'd run out of gas when the top of the needle was even with the bottom of the E mark. Tonight, the needle went farther down than that. I was starting to get nervous.
I got about twenty miles to the gallon. Not as much as I'd hoped for this car.

Date: 2005-04-20 04:28 pm (UTC)From:I haven't been watching the totals because it hurts, but last week it was about $38 to fill-up on the way back from San Diego. That was even at the cheapest gas station I could find in the area...
