I'm not going to filter these, but if you see "remodeling" in the subject line, you can tell it's just more of my whining.

I got out the fix-it manual. You'd think a 400 page book would be a little less vague. I think the thermostat has gone out. I'll have to see if I think I can replace it.

The toilet tank overflowed. The inlet valve wouldn't shut off. I messed with that for about twenty minutes. I think I fixed it.

Water barely comes out of the cold water faucet. I think I'm going to have to disassemble some part of the supply line.

I got the bedroom light fixed, based on some advice from a friend at work.

Still no closer on a plan for the vent cover.

To recap, when I got there I was hoping to work on three projects. Two of those are left, and one new problem.

Thanks.

Damn, I was hoping there were only a couple different kinds.

I'm just glad it's not a big rush.

Hilltop's got the right idea...you need BEER!!

I thinkwe really oughtta try making your duplex a tv series called "this Damn House" and get you lots of funding....I bet we'd make money. I'm sorry the repairs are so frustrating, Kev...

Having a broken thermostat and water problems in the middle of winter in Wisconsin is not a good thing. Good luck with that.

Not a big deal. Nobody lives there. It's kind of annoying when I want to wash out a paint brush, though.
