Made it through three Christmases. Very tiring. I was okay as long as I didn't exert myself at all, but as soon as I got up and moved around, I got worn out.

Christmas morning was with Cyn and her kids. The kids made breakfast, which was very good. Then we opened presents, which were good too. Notably, the Criterion three-disc version of Brazil.

Then it was out to Cyn's mom's. I always enjoy getting together with her family. Notably, I recieved a really thick book about Monty Python, and a capsule of angel snot.

The evening's get-together was at my sister's, with her family and our mother. After a few games of Junior Yahtzee, I went to the basement to see Shelby's deer trophy and discuss remodeling plans. After that, I was pretty well toast. I hope I make it through the big gathering tomorrow.

I hope your Christmas (or whatever you prefer to celebrate) was good too.

The same guy who gave us the shrunken head. And if that's not a big enough hint, the nut doesn't fall far from the tree, Devonne! ;p

And your grandson was the sweetest child in the whole wide world today. It is SUCH a treat watching him open gifts. He acts like he just won the lottery every time. "OHHHH A BOOOK!!!" or "Wouldja look at that! I've never seen that before! WOW!!"

I loved having him tell me about the "There was an old lady that swallowed a fly...I don't know why she swallowed a fly..." it was so sweet.

He had little plastic dinosaurs in a Santa hat. He would walk up to someone and ask them what they wanted for Christmas. It would go something like this:
"What do you want for Christmas?"
"Ummmm, how about world peace."
"Well, I have dinosaurs. Here."
"Oh that's good too, thank you!"

"What would you like for Christmas?"
"I want a stegasaurus, an apatasaurus, and a T-Rex."
"Ok...here." (Hands me random dinosaurs but comes back later with a big smile)
"HERE! This is for you!" And he hands me a T-Rex. He looked so happy about it.
