It's almost Christmas. Christmas is nice. It's the weeks leading up to it that I hate.

I've been working really hard on the duplex. I've been over there every free weeknight that I've had. And I took a day off work. My deadline is probably the 15th. That's the day the electrician comes. The drywaller starts some time after that, and I have to be ready for him. So I've been putting off my Christmas shopping until the 15th. I realized today, that that will not be early enough. That would give me less than a week - not enough if I'm going to be mail ordering. I was planning on working this evening at the duplex, but decided I had better start my gift buying instead. I made a list of people who I need to get gifts for, and applied possible gifts to it. I'm actually off to a good start because Cyn has me covered on some of them.

I've got eighteen people to buy for. Six are done. I've got ideas for four. Two are partly done. That leaves six for whom I have no clue. And it's back to work for the next few days.

Cyn got the tree decorated. We sat and stared at it for a while. Because we were tired.
