it was out of print for a very long time but was recently rereleased on cd... i had been looking for the vinyl for years and finally found a copy of it a few years ago out here in portland...

a lot of the records that had been unreleased on cd are starting to come out seriously making a dent in the value of my record collection...

like neil young... on the beach... it used to be a badge of honor to have that on vinyl b/c it was so hard to find and neil initially said that he would never rerelease it... i guess the people at warner brothers or his accountant had other ideas...

They all fall, sooner or later. I wish more of them had held out, though. They got a raw deal when the format shifted to CD, became more profitable for the companies, and they offered no more money to the artists. The music industry sucks.

I noticed, when browsing the the store (http://www.disciplineglobalmobile.com/shop/) that there were several CDs that said, "Remastered, xxx was only ever released on vinyl and appears on CD for the first time."

I have a couple of King Crimson albums, but it's been a while since I've listened to them so can't remember what their titles are. I have lots of stuff piled up in front of my record collection chest right now (including about five used records I bought this past weekend) so I'm not going to try to look right now. But yeah, King Crimson rule!
