I switched to more frequent washing about 20 years ago when I was traveling more often for work. It seemed a wonderful luxury to use a bath towel once and get a fresh one for the next day. I decided that I could do that for myself at home. After all, I had an automatic washer and dryer, I don't pay for water, and I would buy new towels only on sale.
I didn't realize until just now that you don't have towel racks in your bathroom! You don't need them if you get a fresh towel from the closet each time.
I do have a towel rack--hanging over the toilet tank between the mirror and the west wall. The question was worded "every day/every use" and I asnwered it meaning every use. A doctor told me that with my dry skin I should only shower every couple of days and I do a sponge bath in between. I have a new bath towel for the sponge bath, hang it back up, and then use it for the shower and throw it down the clothes chute.
I choose hand towels that coordinate with my bath towel and change that every time I change bath towels. Sometimes, more often.
And not only is THAT fascinating, I have a factoid about Barbara Bush. When she had guests at Kennebunkport she had posted a note asking them to use the bath towel twice and then put it in the laundry.
