We got much of the house pretty well straightened out my Monday night - at least the important parts. Still haven't gotten very far with the rest of it. Tonight I sat around watching Mike try to set up a router so we could have internet on both computers. I think we have a defective surfboard (the tech is getting to me. I couldn't get mom's DVD player hooked up to her new TV, either).

So only half the house is good, and I feel only half settled here.

It's funny. We've got a bedroom, family room and kitchen in good shape. That's pretty much what we had at the old place. But those rooms are nice, here.

I'm frustrated because I can't find my tools. I left most of them over at the old place because I'm going to be doing a lot of work there. We've got cindy's toolbox here, but half the tools have vanished. No wrenches, no pliers, only phillips screwdriver. WTF? I can't even find everything I need at the other house when I'm there - no adjustable wrench, no chuck key.

This weekend, we're going stereo shopping. That'll make me feel better - if I can get it hooked up right.

I have my own toolbox that I keep under my side of the bed. When I got it, I announced, "This is my toolbox, stay out of it!" Ray has a shed and two storage containers full of (mostly) tools. So he gets into my toolbox all the time. (!) I allow it, but only if he puts the tool back where he found it. ;-)
