We finished cleaning up at Cyn's old house yesterday. Aside from signing the papers on wednesday, we're finally done with that chapter of the story. Finally. We won't have to make that drive again.
That trip was so tedious. Not only because that it was half an hour, but (for me, anyway) that the drive was such a pain. Some of the roads were in really bad shape. There is a railroad crossing that was particularly bad. Since last winter it has gotten really bad. It was like crossing a ditch. Everybody hit their brakes and crawled over it, or pulled over to the parking lane to go around the worst part.
Cindy and I were very grateful to be making that last trip yesterday. But that railroad crossing? They're fixing it today.
