Last night, we ordered bubbles as party favors for the kids at our party. Tonight, my dad tells us that bubbles damage asphalt sealer. And that he just had his driveway resealed last week. :-(
Where they land, the black turns to brown. I'm not sure if it actually eats at the stuff. I probably wouldn't worry much about it if it were my driveway, but it's his driveway and if it bothers him, we've got to do our best to make sure it doesn't get stained. *shrug*
Sorry if my question seemed flippant. I realised that it likely did. It's too bad about the damage. I knew they caused damage, just didn't think it happened that easily. Wow.
No problem. I used the word "damage" which implies breakdown of the asphalt, so it sounded much more severe than actuality (and I was rather vague about it).
