I should get some work done.

Drove out to dad's to return his air nailers. Forgot to take the extra nails. That took up a couple of hours. He showed us his garage. He's got the framing done in the addition, and has been working on the wiring. After that, Cyn did the dishes, and I filed the CDs. My Cds, anyway. Heres are still in stacks on the floor. Maybe if we have time tomorrow night we can work something out.

Had a mole removed from the back of my left thigh. It stings a little. I have to be careful of how I sit. I took the afternoon off for this. I shouldn't have bothered - I was away from the house for 30 minutes. After that, I weeded the garden, watered, organized the extra garage a little bit and made supper. It was nice to have the time off.

We need to get busy planning our big party. I need to see about renting a tent. We need to plan food.

Cyn's kitchen floor is going in on Tuesday. I need to figure out how to get the doors off the fridge so we can get it out of there. I need to pull up the current flooring. I hope that's not as difficult as it looks. 3/8" plywood. Big nails. Then I need to do a little painting. I need to buy quarter round molding and paint it before then too, so they will install it for us. Once the flooring is in, the only thing left on the kitchen is to paint the cabinetry.

The carpet is going in on the fifteenth. Then we have to get everything out of the living room and extra bedroom, and into the kitchen and basement. And tear out the old carpeting.

After that, there are two main things left to do. Paint the basement, and clear/clean/pack. We need to get all the crap out, so it looks good and looks uncluttered. Aside from those two things, there are still a lot of little jobs to do, like fixing a door, and painting a couple of windows.

Meanwhile, my upstairs apartment sits. I need to buy molding, stain and varnish it, and install it. Then I can get carpeting put it. Which I can't really afford.

Our money is running out. We need to get Cyn's place sold, so I can finish renovating this place. I keep looking at these great ideas for budget vacations, and wishing I could afford one. Cyn and I wanted to take some trips this year after the wedding, but we have neither money nor time. Right now is crunch time for finishing her house. We'd really like to get it done and on the market the weekend before the party, at the very latest. We've got to work our asses off. Then we get a little breathing space, and get back to work on my place. Yay.

Just pop the caps on the hinge at the top of the refrigerator doors and then all you need is a ratchet. Sounds easy, but it's a pain in the ass. We movers are forced to do that all the time.
