Friday night, we were supposed to babysit for a friend, but they were sick and cancelled. I cleaned the basement a little. Then I fixed the video and we watched a movie.
Saturday, I worked outside a bit. Bought some dirt to put around the irises. Pulled weeds. Then we went to a scout dinner. They had invited all the families to join them for dinner and a campfire. They gave me a gift for my retirement from the troop.
It's kind of weird. I'm very relieved to be quitting scouting. I guess it's because I'm quitting. Nothing else has changed very much. Except maybe the leadership. Scouting just isn't all that much fun anymore.
