We weighed that cats last night. Escher is 20 pounds. Galadriel is less than seven. Notice how Escher fills up the box.

You know, I was looking at it and thought, "Now, I could use one of those; it looks real handy." We have a trash compactor in the kitchen, but a step can would be great for recycling, I think.

I prefer an open can because it stinks less, but we needed something a little more cat-proof. The ideal can would be too heavy to knock over but open. Assuming the they wouldn't climb into it anyway.

zola was a leetle, sexay thang
at around 6 pounds-
then we got 'er fixed
and she shot up to almost 10!
we put her on a tiny diet
and she's lost a couple of pounds
but she'll always seem like a big girl to me now!
