I can handle water on my glasses, but not in my eyes. I must have a hat on when it rains or I go blind. I can't open my eyes in the water. When I took swimming lessons, I was too young to fully understand that this was why I couldn't learn to swim (a big part of it, anyway).

I couldn't open my eyes under water for years, nor did I want to get my face wet in the shower. Then one day I gritted my teeth and decided to do it. It took a bit of getting used to, but now I'm not bothered at all. The only problem with opening my eyes under water is that I still can't see much because I don't have my glasses on.

I'm getting a little better at getting water in my eyes in the shower, but I still can't handle the rain, or submersion.

Since I don't go underwater, I always wear my glasses in the pool.

Nope. I tried them once, but didn't really like them.
