I saw it. It was pretty cool. It was fairly bright - brighter than most of the stars, but not all. It came up in the east, crossed just over Orion's head, and then faded away shortly after that. It was up for about two and a half minutes. With binoculars, it was bigger than the pinpoint of light that a star is, but I couldn't make out any sort of detail. It is supposed to do the same thing on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. If you're out around seven o'clock (in the midwest) look for it. If yuou are elsewhere, go to www.heavens-above.com to find the schedule.

very cool!

If you're outside looking up during those two minutes, on a night that it passes, you can't miss it.

It is really something. check that site to see if you can see it. I'm sure yuou can. It's been going over slightly west of here.
