I don't feel any better than I did yesterday. Maybe worse.

The doctor asked me when I started feeling sick. He seemed surprised when I said, "today." Like, why are you here if you've only been sick one day? Well, how long am I suposed to wait before going in? Two days? Three? So I waste two days, and then go get medicine, which takes another couiople of days to get me to the point I can go back to work. Or it turns out to be a virus, and I wasted a trip. But chances are the virus won't have gone away in two days either, so I'd still be making the trip.

Better safe than sorry, I think.

Doctors are stupid. The elite get to go college and the spend their life expecting us to thank them for their knowlege, which is so questionable we should ask their parents who sent them how to cure us!

I expect the doctor was surprised because you're a man. It's well documented that men are less likely to see a doctor, and do so at a later stage in an illness.
