frost

We had the most amazing frost this morning. It was so thick it looked like snow. For my drive to work, everything was bright white. My bushes were covered with half inch long spines of frost. Amazing

I was in a hurry, so I only got a couple (not great shots, I'm sure), and the digital camera was out of juice, so you won't get to see them soon.

I think that's what hoarfrost is, without looking it up, 'cause I'm too lazy this morning.

That's the word that came to my mind too. But I just looked it up, and hoarfrost simply means "white frost." We were somewhat right.

It was just a regular line coating of frost down at my house.

Probably because it was warmer. I didn't see any fog. It was sunny when I got up, and clear when I went to bed (and already frosty).
