One the one hand, it's funny the way Michael Moore is funny.

One the other, I'd be more afraid of a 17 year old with a computer prank than his 50ish father. How old was Brad when he set up LJ?
And the function that allows us to comment on each other's journals was added because he wanted to exchange insults with his friends. Now we're within 7 or 8 thousand of having a million ACTIVE users.

It's not copyright infringment -- they can't copyright short phrases or names.

Trademark, perhaps, but I'd love to have them bring their high-priced lawyers into the fray, then have them spend all that money prepping the case, only to have it bounced on the first argument that Mike himself could deliver....

And to prove trademark dilution, they'd have to show that a reasonable person would think MikeRoweSoft was the same as Microsoft. Not a chance in hell....
