My grandma is in the hospital again. She passed out again. I don't know how long it was before they found her. They couldn't figure out what was wrong, so they were going to be releasing her (after a few days). Then she passed out again. Now they've determined she's got congestive heart failure. Which means it's only a matter of time...
She'll be moving to a nursing home soon.

Date: 2004-01-06 01:28 am (UTC)From:my mom called me at work today
to tell me MY grandma's in the hospital!
your news is not as good as mine- i called gma tonight
and she's sounding pretty good~ flu and a touch of pneumonia
is a far cry from congestive heart failure
even though she's 96 years old~
i wonder how old your grandma is-
does she live alone?

She lived alone in an apartment. Every morning and evening at 9:00, she called or was called by her neighbor. That's how they found her. She could have been unconscious for as much as twelve hours.
