I think what you may be feeling is *out of synchness*. You're finally taking a break from your work and have a chance for LJ, just when everyone else is not posting. It's exactly what happens to me on a regular basis.

actually, I think it's kind of the standard "last day" for the holidays --
everybody's getting themselves ready for back to the old grind --
laundry, back to school, find the work you brought home but didn't do ...
