I might have tasted those. They used to have a Scandinavian Folk Fair in Racine--maybe they still do. There was a nice couple who came in at least once a year to get tax help and we came to know each other. They were two of the founders of the Fair and they invited me down. It was a nice time--and good food.

hahahaha - actually! the word æbleskiver means "slices of apple", which is so silly, as there are usually no apples in the recipe!

We always put some little fruit like blueberries or maybe some applesausce in the middle. Is that how you do it over there?
