I post a lot of pictures in
mourning_souls. Cemetery photography is kind of an odd thing. It's generally taking pictures of sculptures. You can get some dramatic photography, but it's kind of like shooting fish in a barrel. Real artists create art, but taking picture of artwork is just a matter of capturing the artist's intent. Generally not too tough.
Over in mourning_souls you often get comments like "great picture!" What they should sometimes be saying is, "great monument!" If they said that, you'd agree, but if they said "great picture," you'd say thank you.
So sometimes I feel funny thanking someone for their praise.
