Every now and then she is interviewed live on Greg Kihn's morning radio show (and was on just last week). She's so funny and vibrant and off-beat, Greg and his listeners are always in for a treat each time. Happy birthday to Grace!
Having only a vague knowledge of who she is, I looked up her biography on Google. Amazing. Just a little younger than I am, a product of an eastern "finishing school" who said (in her early twenties) she had no ambition beyond being a housewife.
The 60s were such a turbulent era. I got married in the 50s when everything was Ike/Republican/conservative values. But I was young enough in the 60s (and of a liberal bent)so that I had one foot in each camp.
