It took me 40 minutes to open up my computer and install a CD burner and new RAM chip. It took me another 25 minutes to install some software, shut it down and reassemble the computer properly. Seemed to be some software for the burner missing. I'll have to see what's up with that.

A little over an hour for something you've never done before? Not bad!

I was surprised at how much of the thing I had to disassemble to get at the drive. I had to remove the whole panel with the motherboard.
