Do you recognize this movie quote?
A guy has set up an attraction in the street, where patrons can put on a diving suit and go down a well (or something) and supposedly see all kinds of marvelous underwater sights, some of them being sunken treasure like Spanish doubloons.
Big dumb guy: "Spanish balloons?"
Attraction operator (with big grin): "Right!"
A lot of people have these little movie lines stuck in their head, and when they hear a triggering word or phrase, they emit the quote. This is one of mine. When the word "balloons" pops up, I often say (in the big dumb guy's voice), "Spanish balloons?" But not too long ago I realized that few people (if any) would ever recognize it. Does it sound familiar to you?

I have no idea where your balloons come from.
