There was an obit in the Journal/Sentinel taken from the LA Times that had many of the same facts but a completely different emphasis. Being totally "no-cool" I was amused by:
"He would give performances consisting of a series of rants common to sufferers of schizophrenia...."

I wondered, as I read, if there were followers of his music on LJ.
