I used to pick up the occasional comic book or graphic novel. I haven't, lately. I did, recently get Sam Kieth's (The Maxx) Wolverine/Hulk story. Very cool. It's about a little girl (who may or may not really be there) who needs Logan's and Bruce's help getting free from a crashed plane. But it's not really clear why she needs the help - until the end.

Anyway, I was wondering what comics (if any) you enjoy.

You knew i'd answer this one:)

I used to read Marvel Comics' Avengers & West Coast Avengers on a moderately regular basis back in the day.  They had all these characters from different comics everywhere and had to maintain continuity to a T while building on / drawing from the interpersonal relationships between them.  I loved the "big event" issues where -everyone- in the Marvel universe seemed to make an appearance.

Before that (ie. 1986) I tracked a comic called Strike Force Morituri.  There were 31 issues (that I know of) detailing humanity's struggle against some extremely cruel alien invaders; the titular "Strike Force" was made up of people with less than a thousand days left to live.

Although they are tweaking many of the details to help people in suspending their disbelief, they are planning on making a televised series based on the comic so now would be an excellent time to lay down the $62 that the shops are asking for the comic's entire run:

What Mausi said.

Basically, anything that comes out of Slave Labor Graphics.

The Maxx is the very comic that got me started purchasing comic books in the first place! I love it!

Same here. I was only a little bit into comic books before that, but after I realized The Maxx was a book series, I spent a lot of time at the comic shops.
