I had an hour last night to get through a weekend's worth of posts. I almost made it. Fortunately, hardly anyone has written anything today. That must have something to do with the stie being somewhat down. Today, I can only get to people's own pages, and my friends page, but not any comment or other utility pages.
My weekend was okay.
The Scout outing was fine. We slept in tents on Friday evening (it was cold, but not too bad), and the rest of the weekend in the cottage. We had freezing rain all day on Saturday, and strong wind the whole weekend. We ate a lot. We only had half the grouip we expected. Doug didn't show, and Ron had to leave early on saturday. That left two of us leaders to eat a 10 pound turkey, stuffing, casserole and mashed potatoes. We stuffed ourself with the beef stew for lunch too. The boys didn't eat quite so well. They had chili. Mark and I got out to take some pictures on Saturday afternoon. Hopefully I can post some.

Date: 2001-02-26 04:03 pm (UTC)From:Actually, this time we cooked indoors in a real kitchen, but we are used to eating well. Last October, we had Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner, and I baked a carrot cake for dessert (layer cake with frosting). That was over coals.
It sounds like you had a good time this weekend. :-)
OOOoooOoooo.....
