Didn't you and I go see that as kids and we cried? Or was that Billy Jack? LOL!!! We were dorks!

I thought I saw Butch Cassidy with Sheila, but maybe that was you. I saw Billy Jack at that theater on Burleigh, so it's a good possibility you were with me for that one. We cried?! doh!

This list must have been compiled by Blockbuster or something. It's really bad - I bet there are fewer than 10 non-American films in the whole pile.

Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Lola Rennt? On the same list as Seven Samurai? Eeesh.

You should see Butch & Sundance, though, Freekee. I don't know if I would call it one of the '100 best,' but it will charm all heck out of you.

I'm all for having a variety of films on "great" lists, but yeah, they must have included films simply for entertainment value. As much as I enjoyed The Matrix, I wouldn't include it with the greats.

Of the ones you haven't seen, I recommend The Third Man.

Actually, I put up a second poll, but since you explained your answer for the first one that should cover it. :-)
