I like the meme. There are a lot of people writing about themselves. I like that. I wish I had some decent questions to ask people. If I did, I'm sure I'd enjoy asking some.

I've always been more comfortable answering questions than asking them. I don't care to probe where people don't want to be probed, and since you never know where that is until you try, I prefer to leave well-enough alone. I always feel that if someone wanted to talk about it they'd bring it up. So asking would be an invasion of privacy.

Not that this is exactly what this is all about, but I just felt like writing how I felt about the subject. You can pretend somebody asked me about it.

There's not a lot I feel is an invasion of privacy to me or my person - so if you want to, ask away. I'll gladly answer anything you want to know. :>

If it's too personal I'll just answer you privately.

Fair enough.

But I can't think of any questions worth asking. I think you divulge more of yourself than most people around here. :-)

Hee, I guess I do talk a lot sometimes, don't I? :>

Well, let me see if I can't come up with something for YOU!

If left alone in a toystore, what would you play with first?

What was it that happened, or what was the moment like, when you first realised you loved Cyn? Or did it come upon you gradually?

What silly, goofy, or strange thing do you like, that you hesitated to tell even Cyn at first?

Did you learn to do something as a child, that you can still do now, but feel weird or silly telling people you can do?

What are the qualities you most and least like in other people? What are you happiest about within yourself?

How attached are you to your facial hair? If someone offered you money, would you shave it off?

What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done on purpose? The most ridiculous or outrageous?

I don't ask questions that might be too intrusive--just questions that I think might be fun to answer.

Here are some for you, if you'd like to try answering them (you don't have to):

1. What is your favorite programming language, and why?

2. How long have you been a Scout leader?

3. How did you get into Scouts in the first place?

4. What's the best backpacking trip you ever did?

5. What's your favorite meal to take along on a backpacking trip?

You can try asking me back, if you want (you don't have to). None of the questions anyone has asked me have been intrusive by most people's standards.

1. I don't program. The closest I get to that is html. I should have been a computer geek, though.

2. I joined scouting when I was a freshman in high school, and when I turned 18, I signed on as a leader. I've been doing it ever since.

3. My best friend had been in scouting since he was little, and finally got me to join. I was never very excited about it, but it was fun enough, so that's what I did.

4. Unfortunately, I never went on many big backpacking trips. The best one was a four day trek in the Porcupine Mountains (on Lake Superior in the UP). It was a scout trip - six boys and two of us leaders. It was the culmination of six months of training and team-building, and the park was beautiful. I have a lot of memories (and pictures). I should write about it sometime.

5. We had a fair variety of meals while backpacking, but none ever really stood out.

Okay, here are some back.
1. Are you a backpacker?
2. What's the best backpacking trip you ever did?
3. What's your favorite meal to take along on a backpacking trip?
