I've got two big projects for the near future. One of them is at work. I've got a lot of work to do and only nine days left to do it. I need to work as much overtime as I can - which is probably only an hour or so a day, but it will help.

The other project is even bigger. I'm going to remodel my bathroom over the Christmas holiday. I've only got ten days to get it from the start back to where I can use it - I'm sure I can't get it *finished* by then. I'm starting on the 20th. And I've got a lot of work to do before that, even. I'll be ordering tile tonight, I hope. Tomorrow is gaming. Thursday, I will likely be taking a field trip to central Illinios, to visit a tire plant. Friday is the new Star Trek movie. Next monday is our Scout Christmas party. Next Thursday is The Two Towers. That leaves only a few more days to prepare for the remodeling. I'm suddenly worried about not having time get all my supplies.

Anyway, the point is I won't be online very much. I'll try to keep up with some of you, but I'll tell you right now that I won't be reading a lot of journals. This will be the case at least until I start the remodeling project, maybe until I'm done with it.

We had a man in to do out bathroom when elder child was about 1. We bathed him in the kitchen sink. He said his first word there.
