So far, there have been nine Star Trek movies.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1980)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984)
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991)
Star Trek VII: Generations (1994)
Star Trek VIII: First Contact (1996)
Star Trek IX: Insurrection (1998)

None of the odd numbered movies has been better than any of the even numbered movies (in most fans' opinions). I'm hoping this latest one doesn't break that trend.

First Contact was my favorite, by the way. And Undiscovered Country my favorite of the classic cast.

Oh wait *looking at the years*...I had my kids in 1983 and 1985, and found other things to occupy my time and money. What a shame!

Does this mean that Captain Janeway and the misfits of the Starship Voyager will take to the Silver Screen now? One way or another, it'll be odd!

Nobody seems to know yet. they don't seem too excited about making a Voyager movie. They might just take a break and return with Enterprise.
