While I was cleaning off my "desk" tonight, I found some coupons. One was for a free entree at the place we took our out-of-town guests last weekend. Coulda saved us eight bucks. Then I found I coulda had a half price entree at the restaurant that we took our out of town guest last April (probly six bucks). And 10% off of a CD at Atomic records, where we bought some music a month ago.
Then I ran up to Shopko for a couple of cheap items. They didn't have exactly what I wanted, so I went over to Kohl's. I got them and a few more things, and ended up spending $56. I was standing in the checkout line before I realized I had a 15% off coupon at home.
So tonight I discovered I wasted almost 25 dollars.
