1: I won't even touch that pizza
2: Maybe I can pick it off
3: Whatever
4: Yum!
5: It's just not pizza without it

[Poll #77145]

Date: 2002-11-20 11:06 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] serendipity.livejournal.com
It looks like you should've put a 0 in the choices. I skipped those toppings that I don't like and would've voted 0. But in the results, all the 0's show up as 0%.

Notice the key up, at the top, where an answer of "1" indicates "I won't even touch that pizza."

Date: 2002-11-20 02:28 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] serendipity.livejournal.com
I somehow missed the key, so my answers are just wrong.

You can retake it if you want (or have the time or inclination). Just click on the poll number on top, and then "fill out poll."

Thanks, maybe later!

Today's schedule: working 10-1 instead of 9-noon so I can participate in a Webcast about law and libraries from 12-1. Zip home, eat lunch, pick up The Kid at 2, help with homework and stuff, maybe get a legal document notarized (about a month late, but oh, well), take her to her Hip-Hop dance class, maybe go out for supper, then all the evening work/school night stuff. So maybe pizza poll at 10pm! :)

No problem. :-)

Did you have a *particular* "best veggie pizza in the world" in mind?

Re:

Yes, at a downtown restaurant called Il Fornaio, where I just happen to be going tomorrow. They serve it with or without cheese. Sometimes I order it without cheese and just ask the waiter for some fresh parmesan sprinkled over the top. Magnifico!

OK, done.

The best vege pizza I'm talking about has stuff like artichoke, squash, zucchini, etc. on a super thin crust. Really really really delicious.

Cheeseless pizza? That seems a little strange to me. As does tomato sauceless pizza. It kinda defeats the purpose. :-D

Yeah, I'm sure it seems strange to most Americans. But if you go to Italy, you won't necessarily get a pizza with tomato sauce or cheese baked into it. Probably with tomatoes on top, and definitely sprinkled with Parmesan. Anyway, the pizza I'm talking about is superb. :)

Good poll! Well done. 8~)

Thanks. I wish it would allow more than 15 questions. And I could've put the thin crust/deep dish question on a scale too. I would have answered 3 and 5.

Is egg a common topping in your part of the world? I've never heard of that.

the white alfredo-like sauce (but not that white ranch-style crap), and for the girl and myself, we like the Boboliā„¢ crusts just spread with mashed up roasted garlic and our special secret Italian herb blend

As far as crust sytle, it depends on if the crust is any good, or just the vehicle to deliver the toppings.

Interesting.

You need a third choice on pizza style: Either one is good, thin crust or deep dish.

I mentioned to J, that I should have had them on a scale too, but there's a limit on questions.

solstice chicken is a great meal......however, i have never had a bad pizza at this place, not even a mediocre pizza......

Don't you hate that, when you really want a particular thing, but you feel obligated to have something else, just because that something is the best?

i usually never feel obligated to eat something because of it's reputation when i'm hungry for something else.....

and at the moose's tooth, it's just a matter of having another nice midtown brown ale to wash it down

You forgot stuffed pizza you insensitive clod!

I guess I should have done two polls, to get all of the choices in. :-)

pizza

I didn't scroll up far enough to see the key. As a result my important answers are all wrong. Oh, nooo!

My favorite pizza in the world is a crust that tastes good--not just delivers the pizza--with extra cheese and sausage. (Only 800 calories per slice)

Crust is important. I have a preference for deep dish, because with the thin crust varieties, the crust isn't usually very tasty.
